NCSOFT's Lineage W updated on Wednesday, October 28. Marking the game's 5th anniversary, this week's update kicks off various events in earnest. These include a special check-in event, coupons, eve growth buffs, and pre-registration. On Wednesday, November 4, the 5th anniversary update will officially launch, featuring the new 'Dancer' class and the new world 'Ashur'.
First, a special check-in event is being held to celebrate the 5th anniversary. Players can check in for up to 14 days until maintenance on Wednesday, November 25, and can activate the check-in event by entering the special coupon code [LW5thAnniversary] to receive coins. In addition, entering the coupon code grants the '5th Anniversary Blessing', which provides buffs such as EXP bonuses and potion recovery rates until 5:00 AM on Wednesday, December 30.
Events related to the 5th Anniversary Eve are also taking place. Until maintenance on Wednesday, November 4, players can purchase 100 5th Anniversary Cubes once per account for 5 Adena. Opening a cube guarantees Honor Coins, Card Coins, and Tough Meat, with a chance to obtain one item among Draw Tickets, Challenge Tickets, Spell Coins, Collector's Treasure Chests, and more. Additionally, EXP gained in seven dungeons—including the Fire Dragon Nest, Earth Dragon Nest, Water Dragon Nest, and Wind Dragon Traces—will be increased by 500% until Wednesday, November 4.
A 5th anniversary pre-registration event is also underway. Pre-registering by Tuesday, November 3 rewards players with 5th Anniversary Morph/Magic Doll Cards, Dragon Magic Stones, 5th Anniversary Growth Potions, and more. Note that reward items for the Ashur world differ from other worlds. Among pre-registered players, 5,000 selected participants will also receive 28 'Ashur's Diamond Vault Boxes', which contain Bound Diamonds.
In addition, a pre-character creation event exclusive to the new world, Ashur, is taking place. Participating in the event grants Ashur's Special Gift Box, Growth Support Box, and Treasure Chest Cornucopia once per account.
