On October 27 KST, in Round 3 of the Swiss Stage at the 2026 LoL World Championship held at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas, LOS secured their survival with a 2-0 victory over Team Secret Whales (TSW). TSW became the first team eliminated from Worlds.
Game 1 was a fierce, closely contested battle that lasted nearly 40 minutes. TSW, playing a snowball-reliant composition, took an early lead in the laning phase and seemed poised to comfortably control the game. However, as time went on, TSW continued to expose weaknesses in their macro and objective teamfights, allowing LOS's heavy teamfight composition to gain momentum. Ultimately, a victory in a Baron teamfight allowed LOS to take Game 1.
In Game 2, consecutive top roams paid off, freeing up 'Dire's Ro'Ke early, and TSW leveraged that momentum to win a Voidgrub teamfight. However, their joy was short-lived. They suffered a major loss after overcommitting during a skirmish over the Scuttle Crab. Their downfall was dumping all their abilities onto 'Curse's Trundle, who had his ultimate ready.
LOS repeatedly picked off 'Pun's Jax and 'Hizto's Vi, opening up a gold lead of over 5,000. Although they surrendered Baron and allowed TSW to close the gap after an accident where 'Duduhh's Ashe was erased by a Vi-Miss Fortune ultimate combo, LOS regained momentum by winning a teamfight at the third dragon. Winning teamfight after teamfight, LOS marched forward with the Baron buff to seal the victory.
