HoYoverse has launched the Version 9.1 update for its action RPG Honkai Impact 3rd, introducing a variety of new content including the new S-rank battlesuit "Herrscher of Time" and the Part 2 main story epilogue.
HoYoverse announced on the 23rd that it has applied the Version 9.1 update, "Newly Shining Time," to action RPG Honkai Impact 3rd. Version 9.1 introduces a Part 2 epilogue story reflecting on past adventures, alongside a new S-rank battlesuit and numerous themed events.
The newly added S-rank battlesuit "Herrscher of Time" is an Imaginary-type character that deals Fire DMG to enemies in combat. In particular, she features a unique ability that utilizes "Reminiscence" during battle to re-inflict past damage onto targets. Furthermore, she possesses a mechanism that accumulates non-HP deduction DMG dealt by party members and support characters as "Weight of Life," which can be consumed upon casting specific skills to deal direct HP deduction DMG to enemies.
During the update period, the "Herrscher of Time" battlesuit supply will be available, offering players their first 10-pull supply for free. Additionally, her signature Drive Core weapon and Stigmata set have been newly added.
The new theme event, "Encounter: Toyhouse of Memories," has also kicked off. It tells the story of Elysia teaming up with her companions to build a comprehensive arcade shop, "Encounter: Shop of Miracles," to fulfill a fan's request. Players can explore various areas across the world to recruit companions of different classes and easily raise their levels and gear through idle progression mechanics. By participating in the event, players can earn Crystals, Source Prisms, and the Fairytale of Time Emblem, as well as Lone Planetfarer's new outfit, "Slumber's Dream."
In addition, the Part 2 main story epilogue, "The Sea Sings With the Voice of Fire," has officially opened. Players can follow the perspective of the Dreamseeker to relive memorable key scenes from the Part 2 main story. Various other events will unlock sequentially, rewarding players with items such as Crystals, characters, and Outfit Option Boxes.
Meanwhile, Honkai Impact 3rd plans to host an illustration café and a limited-time collaboration café starting October 31. Details regarding the offline café operations and this update can be found on the official community forum.
