Korean publisher Netmarble has released a major update for RAVEN2, its dark fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), to mark one year of global service. The anniversary events run until December 16th.
According to a release, players can collect at least 365 Summon Scrolls over that stretch. The [1st Anniversary] Summon 28-Day Check-In hands out 11 a day. More come from an anniversary Event Pass (and other limited-time activities). Summon Scrolls are spent on random draws, a common system in Korean mobile and PC MMORPGs.
What else the update adds
A new Dominion's Daily Mission asks players to clear simple daily tasks. Each one pays out Dominion's Coins; those can be traded for rewards such as a Legendary Holy Garment and a Legendary Familiar, the release says. Blueprints are on the list too.
Players on regular servers get a second check-in. The Event Draw 28-Day Check-In grants one Event Draw Ticket per login, which goes into a special crafting system. The top prize is a Heroic Holy Garment, Familiar or Weapon Resonance Selection Summon Scroll.
Halloween is here as well. Until November 11th, the event dungeon Pumpkinus's Candy Village drops an event currency (Pumpkinus's Pumpkin Fragments) plus rare-grade Pumpkinus's Earrings and the stones used to enhance them. Fragments can be swapped at Pumpkinus's Gift Shop for items including Heroic Heavenstone Abrasive and a [Phaegar] Familiar Summon Scroll.
Guild Dungeon gains Stage 6. Class balance changes come with it, along with more progression and quality-of-life tweaks. Regular worlds also get Abyss 4F, described as a new high-level challenge. Over on Fresh Start Server ZERO, the first-ever Clash will crown the server's strongest guild.
RAVEN2 is the official sequel to Raven, also known as EvilBane: The Iron King. Players join the Special Corps, looking into ‘dangerous and bizarre incidents’ under royal order while a large-scale war plays out. More details are on the game's official website and forum.
