On September 17, NC hosted the first public playable demo of its new title, Astrae Oratio (hereinafter Asuora), at Tokyo Game Show 2026.
Asuora is a Shin-denki magic RPG published by NC and developed by Dynamis One. Set in a world where reality and magic coexist, players take on the role of "Shunin," a public official at the "Special District Office"—an agency responsible for administering mages—as they encounter various characters and incidents. The release is scheduled for 2027.
NC set up a dedicated booth for Asuora at the venue, modeling the demo area after the Special District Office from the game. Attendees can experience both Scenario Mode and Combat Mode.
The booth stage features an in-game Tokyo Tower structure and a large LED screen. A "Scenario Screening" introducing the early story of the game is also being held. Additionally, an exhibition space utilizing Samsung Electronics' glasses-free 3D display, "Spatial Signage," was prepared to showcase characters in three dimensions.
On the first day of the event, NC hosted a Media Preview panel where Dynamis One Game Director Jong-gyu Lim and Art Director In Kim introduced the game's key features and development direction.
Director Lim said, "We are bringing elements of gameplay like story, art, and combat together into one complete game, and we will continue to expand it through live service updates," adding, "Starting with this first demo at Tokyo Game Show, please keep an eye on how the game grows like a serial publication with new stories and characters."
NC plans to gather feedback from players through Tokyo Game Show and a global Closed Beta Test (CBT) scheduled within 2026 to enhance the game's polish.
