PLAYWITH Korea conducted a major content update for the online MMORPG 'Seal Online' on September 17, adding 3rd class advancements, a top-tier dungeon, exclusive equipment, and more.
Through this update, a total of 16 3rd class advancements have been added across eight classes. Knights can advance to 'Abyss Knight' or 'Templar Knight', Warriors to 'Swordmaster' or 'Asura', Mages to 'Frost Mage' or 'Flame Mage', and Priests to 'Inquisitor' or 'Saint'.
Jesters can advance to 'Phantom Assassin' or 'Gambler', Craftsmen to 'Demolitionist' or 'Master Craftsman', Hunters to 'Spirit Archer' or 'Magic Marksman', and Cooks to 'Food Slayer' or 'Master Chef'. Currently, the available 3rd class is determined by the player's 2nd class, and players can switch to their new job upon completing the class advancement quest.
A hard-mode dungeon for top-tier players, 'Elim Sewers Another', was also introduced. Based on the existing 'Elim Sewers', completing various quests serves as a key strategy element for the dungeon. A new 'Death Count' system has also been introduced.
'Abyss Bone Equipment' exclusive to 3rd classes was also added. It can be crafted by fusing existing top-tier equipment with materials obtained from the new dungeon. Set effects were adjusted to activate regardless of equipment grade, and the weight of stats from the equipment itself was increased. The experience required to level up was reduced to 70% of the previous amount.
An update commemorative event is also taking place. Players who log in during the event period will receive over 10 types of in-game items, including 'Black Rose', 'Black Vermilion Bird', 'Jelly Bear Guarder', and 'Marco's Mistake'. Growth-related benefits such as field EXP, item drop rates, and daily quests will be boosted by 1.5x up to 3x.
A limited-time event celebrating Chuseok was also prepared. Players can participate in related quests such as 'Mina's Songpyeon Delivery' to earn commemorative gifts. Further details about the update and events can be found on the official 'Seal Online' website.
