Juliet, the chainsaw-wielding heroine, is returning in an all-new title.
On the 17th, it was announced via the official PlayStation Blog that a new Lollipop Chainsaw game is scheduled to launch in 2027. The title of the new entry has been set as 'Lollipop Chainsaw Back2Back', with PS5 currently being the only platform officially confirmed for release. Whether the release platforms will be expanded is expected to be announced through future updates.
Meanwhile, Lollipop Chainsaw originally launched in 2012 on PS3 and Xbox. Featuring a unique concept where a chainsaw-wielding high school girl fights off zombies with her boyfriend's severed head attached to her waist, the game successfully established a cult following. Later, Dragami Games, founded by developers of the original game, released the remastered version 'Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP'. This brand-new sequel is being co-developed by DRAGAMI GAMES and Taiwan's NADA HOLDINGS.
