The newly refreshed PS5 audio product lineup—the 'PlayStation Pulse' and 'Pulse Edge' wireless headsets—has been revealed for the first time.
At the core of this new headset lineup is exceptional audio quality delivered by studio-inspired custom planar magnetic drivers. This provides outstanding sound separation, spatial accuracy, and even richer bass. Furthermore, via PlayStation Link, they support lossless ultra-low latency audio across various devices including PS5, PC, and Mac, while also enabling simultaneous connection with Bluetooth devices.
The high-end 'Pulse Edge' model, designed for the ultimate audio experience, features double the magnet capacity of the standard model to maximize precision. It is equipped with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and a detachable boom mic for clear voice chat, alongside built-in audio balance control for PS5 and a premium carrying case included as standard. Both models incorporate AI-based noise-rejection integrated microphones and a portable flat-folding design, available in two colors: White and Midnight Black.
The PlayStation Pulse Wireless Headset will release in select markets starting this upcoming holiday season, while the Pulse Edge Wireless Headset is scheduled to launch officially in early 2027. Further details, including pre-order start dates and pricing, will be announced at a later time.
