Team NINJA's 'Wo Long' sequel, 'Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember', has opened pre-orders and released a demo across all platforms.
On the 16th, pricing for 'Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember' was revealed across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Xbox on PC platforms. The Standard Edition is priced at 79,800 won, while the Digital Deluxe Edition is listed at 112,400 won. In addition to purchasing the game, players can also try out the released demo.
Set against the backdrop of Cao Cao's invasion of Jing Province in 208 AD, this new title follows the story of the protagonist and their friend Pang Tong as they join forces with Liu Bei and Sun Quan to navigate the turmoil of war. Unlike its predecessor, iconic Three Kingdoms scenes such as 'Changban' and 'Red Cliffs' are rendered as expansive, three-dimensional open fields. Furthermore, the series' signature combat blending offense and defense through 'Deflect' has evolved to be even faster, allowing players to employ a wide range of strategies—such as enhancing various actions with 'Insight' to launch counterattacks using terrain or recruiting enemy warlords as allies.
As pre-order and early purchase bonuses, the "Nuwa's War Garment Set" and "Shennong's Armor Set" will be provided, respectively. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game alongside a Season Pass covering upcoming DLCs, the "Fuxi's Heavy Armor Set," a digital artbook, and a mini soundtrack. For the DLCs, the developers currently aim to release the first DLC by August 31, 2027, and the second by October 31, 2027.
Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember is scheduled to launch on March 4, 2027.
