Com2uS Platform, a subsidiary of Com2uS Holdings, announced on September 15 that it participated as a sponsor in the "1st AI Game Sound Design Challenge (AI GSDC 2026)" held in Pangyo, Gyeonggi Province.
Around 80 teams participated in the competition, hosted by Com2uS Platform partner Changjo Gongjakso under the theme of generative AI sound production. Team "OVERTAKE" won the Gold Award, and Com2uS Platform Director Lee Ruda personally presented the Silver Award ("Hive Award") to Team "Iroi". Com2uS Platform also provided all award-winning teams with "Hive Credits" that can be used for game development and operations.
Com2uS Platform is also participating in initiatives to support the adoption of AI technology by domestic developers. Its game backend service "Hive" is participating as an official AI solution for the "2026 Game Development Environment AI Transformation (AX) Support Project," organized by the Korea Game Developers Association, the Korea Mobile Game Association, and the Korea Artificial Intelligence Game Association. Last July, the company co-hosted "AMPLIFY 2026" alongside AI solution companies.
"As AI technology lowers the barriers to content creation, an environment is being created where creators' ideas can be realized rapidly," said Com2uS Platform Director Lee Ruda. "Hive will actively support original games born through AI so that they can successfully settle in the market and be served to global users."
"Hive" is a Game Backend as a Service (GBaaS) that provides core features required for game operations—such as authentication, payments, community features, security, and data analytics—through a single SDK and an integrated management page.
