On September 15 (local time), NCSOFT will release 'Code of Creation,' the final major update for 'Visions of Eternity,' the latest expansion for the PC online MMORPG 'Guild Wars 2,' in North America and Europe.
'Guild Wars 2' was developed by ArenaNet, NCSOFT's North American development studio. Released in October 2025, the sixth expansion, 'Visions of Eternity,' has continually expanded its content through quarterly major updates. 'Code of Creation' serves as the final chapter, following 'The Only Way' introduced in May.
Players can experience the conclusion of the expansion's story surrounding the island of Castora in the new explorable zone, 'Leyspring Hollows.' While exploring the region, players can master new Masteries and earn rewards such as new armor and weapon sets.
Cooperative combat content sees the addition of 'Nexus of Eternity'—featuring a new 10-player raid and a Convergence for up to 50 players—and 'Solitary Throne,' a Fractal for up to 5 players. While the raid and Convergence share the same name, they are distinct content types with different group sizes and mechanics. NCSOFT also plans to introduce higher-difficulty Challenge Modes in the future.
Additionally, the update introduces a new legendary weapon, 'Wages of Stars,' new relics to expand character builds, and a refreshed 'Wizard's Vault' containing new seasonal rewards.
With this update, 'Visions of Eternity' delivers on all the content promised at launch, including two new zones, a 10-player raid, and legendary equipment. Further details can be found on the official 'Guild Wars 2' website.
