On September 9, NEXPACE released its first-half report for 2026, detailing the on-chain economy of the MapleStory Universe ecosystem.

According to the report, MapleStory Universe generated approximately 30.98 million NXPC in protocol revenue during the first half of the year. This figure surpasses the approximately 28.14 million NXPC distributed to players as gameplay rewards by the blockchain-based MMORPG 'MapleStory N' over the same period.
About 95% of the revenue came from core gameplay content involving voluntary player spending, such as item enhancement and synthesis. As of June 30, the cumulative protocol revenue for the ecosystem reached 58.22 million NXPC.
NEXPACE burned tokens twice in connection with its first-half revenue. It burned approximately 2,876,500 tokens on May 21 and approximately 3,325,500 tokens on July 16, bringing total cumulative burns since the ecosystem's launch to approximately 11.65 million NXPC.
The burn amounts were calculated according to the quarterly burn policy NEXPACE introduced in November 2025, with details published on-chain for public verification.

The MSU Marketplace recorded 2.74 million transactions in the first half of the year, with total volume reaching approximately 32.1 million NXPC. Out of approximately 855,500 active wallets since the ecosystem's launch, 66%—or about 564,700—participated in on-chain content transactions at least once.
In the second half of the year, NEXPACE plans to continue allocating 20% of quarterly revenue to NXPC burns in accordance with its disclosed burn policy, publishing transaction details on-chain. The company aims to improve the NXPC economic structure, continue major content updates for 'MapleStory N', and reinforce systems that protect its open economy. NEXPACE also plans to pursue strategies to expand the broader MapleStory Universe ecosystem beyond a single game, periodically disclosing related developments.
