Co-op survival horror game 'Escape from Playtime', set in the 'Poppy Playtime' universe, has been revealed.

Mob Entertainment showcased gameplay footage of 'Escape from Playtime' on August 27 during the gamescom 2026 Future Games Show (FGS). Supporting 1–4 player online co-op, the game tasks players with surviving trapped inside an abandoned toy factory while following instructions from a mysterious voice.

In each run, players are placed into specific sections of the factory, including classrooms, warehouses, testing labs, and the dark corridors connecting them. Inhabiting the factory are rejected creations of Playtime Co. that stalk the decaying hallways. Players must work together, using their surroundings to escape the factory.

The mysterious voice sends players into the facility to recover scattered parts and resources. To survive, players must utilize tools found throughout the factory, uncover clues, find hiding spots, and evade the rejected creations by creating distractions or taking alternate routes. When playing with multiple players, proximity voice chat can be used to scout broader areas.

Additionally, a Mini Mode allows players to crawl and climb around the factory as Smiling Critters. The mysterious voice also randomly alters the factory's layout in every run, ensuring that even familiar locations offer a fresh experience.

'Escape from Playtime' will launch first in Early Access, featuring all 8 characters, one starting zone, and a core enemy lineup. Additional zones, enemies, and content will be added based on player feedback. An exact release date has not yet been announced.
