On the 29th, Smilegate released the fourth season of its seasonal content, 'Galactic Disaster,' titled 'Broken Light and Claws,' for the dark fantasy roguelike RPG 'Chaos Zero Nightmare' (hereinafter 'Chaos Zero Nightmare'), developed by Super Creative.

This season introduces new stories, Chaos, and combatants in sequence. The new story follows an adventure to uncover the truth behind a series of disappearances targeting 'Firsts,' which are strategic assets, and depicts an encounter with 'Anes,' another First besides the protagonist. Additionally, players can engage with the new Chaos, 'Kaleidoscope Hatchery,' and obtain character acquisition resources and various growth items from the supply shop.

New combatant 'Hilde' and her partner 'Uni' have also been added. 'Hilde,' a 'Ranger' class combatant with the Instinct attribute, generates 'Homing Arrow' cards to launch follow-up attacks or assist in drawing party member cards. Her partner, 'Uni,' increases the combatant's Attack and provides an effect that boosts additional damage when specific attribute attack cards are generated.

A wide range of new systems has also been introduced. An 'Outing Outfit' system, which allows players to view the appearances, dialogue, and special stories of their combatants, has been added, with the first outfits for 'Hilde' and 'Tipera' now available. Furthermore, a 'Growth Guide' to assist with efficient progression and a 'Build Preset' system to help players obtain desired save data have been implemented.

To celebrate the update, Smilegate is hosting various events. The 'Beach Cafe Festival' event, running until September 30, offers a save data background, an outing outfit for the combatant 'Ray,' stickers, and a summer story as mission rewards. Additionally, the 'Following the Fox's Footsteps' event and a Season 4 attendance event will provide Crystals and growth resources as gifts.

Kim Ju-hyung, Business Department Head at Smilegate, stated, "In Season 4, we are introducing an attractive new combatant, the Outing Outfit system for a fresh experience, and various systems designed to enhance the convenience of character growth," and asked for continued interest and support.
