'Palworld,' the open world survival craft game developed and published by PocketPair, officially launched as version 1 on the 10th. This marks the completion of the game after approximately two and a half years of development since its initial early access debut in January 2024, with the release date officially announced at Summer Game Fest 2026.

PocketPair stated, "We are deeply grateful for the support of our passionate community and have done our utmost to deliver a deeper, more evolved final version of Palworld worthy of an official launch." The developer introduced 1 as the 'biggest update' in Palworld's history, featuring new Pals, new regions, and the long-awaited narrative journey toward the 'World Tree.'

'Palworld' is a multiplayer survival craft game set in a vast open world where players collect mysterious creatures called 'Pals' and utilize them for combat, construction, farming, and factory work. Immediately following its early access release, it achieved record-breaking success, surpassing 1.32 million concurrent players on Steam and reaching over 32 million cumulative players across all platforms, including PS5 and Xbox.

The 1 update finally opens the 'World Tree' region, which had been teased for a long time, and adds new Pals, new areas, and powerful new threats. PocketPair stated that they focused on enhancing technical stability and significantly improving the quality of existing systems, rather than just adding content. The development team explained, "We decided that taking the time to properly resolve issues would ultimately lead to a better game than continuing with endless early access updates."

'Palworld' 1 is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, with full cross-play support across all platforms.

Meanwhile, 'Palworld' is currently available for purchase through INVEN GAMES, where it is being offered at a 30% discount off the regular price to celebrate the 1 launch (July 10 – July 24).
