An all-rounder Summoner, Arami - support your allies and oppress your enemies

Arami is a Summoner with high skill power in MXM. She uses a ranged weapon that slightly tracks targets, and influences the flow of the battle with a number of CC skills.

Her skills slow, bind, or launch enemy Masters into the air. You can use these skills to either initiate a battle, or combine them with your team’s attacks to deal as much damage as possible.

You can also steal a portion of your enemy’s mana with her passive skill, and her survival skill creates an illusion which can be very versatile when used strategically. Her ultimate animates a golem that follows Arami and attack any nearby enemies, providing additional firepower during fights or a nice distraction in tight situations.

Recommended Master options

Recommended Augments

Amari’s weapon attack slightly tracks targets, but the projectile speed is quite slow, making it easy for enemy Masters to evade. Having Projectile Speed would thus supplement this weakness.

Recommended skills combination

Both Glyph: Binding and Glyph: Hinder-Plasms have a fair influence on the enemy movement. You can use Glyph: Hinder-Plasm to slow down the enemy, and bind him/her with Glyph: Binding.

The combination of Glyph: Gravel Fist and Glyph: Relocation is more aggressive than the aforementioned one. Use Glyph: Gravel Fist to support the ally attack and escape safely with Glyph: Relocation.

Nodes

Because of her high skill power, it is recommended to equip nodes that increase skill power and MP and reduce skill cooldown. This will allow you to deal more damage at a lower cost.

Recommended Auxiliary skill

Arami has a great synergy when she cooperates with fellow team members. Thus, Teleport is always a good choice, as it lets you join ally Masters whenever it is necessary.

Traits priority

Skill Power would be a reasonable choice as Amari tends to use skills more frequently than other Masters. When you are leveled up to certain point, Cooldown/Resource is recommended so that you can use her skills more often

Summary of Arami’s skills

Glyph: Binding literally binds the enemy. When casted, the skill places a glyph on a certain area, and it is triggered, binding by reactivation or when an enemy crosses over it. The glyph is quite wide, making it easy to bind the target, and it becomes more effective in the narrow areas. It is better to use the skill as part of the combination with other skills or ally Master’s CC skills.

Glyph: Gravel Fist places a rather small glyph, and the target that triggers it gets launched into the air by either reactivation or the target crossing over it. It is also recommended to use it with other skills rather than on its own. It works well placing it close to Arami when the melee Master approaches.

You can place a glyph wherever you would like with Glyph: Hinder-Plasm, and the glyph periodically produces plasm that chases enemies, damaging and slowing them. Multiple plasms do not focus the same target, thus it is recommended to place the glyph around a group of enemies. It will be much easier to hit the enemies with other skills when they are slowed by Glyph: Hinder-Plasm, therefore you may want to use this skill first.

Glyph: Relocation allows Arami to switches places with the glyph, causing a damaging blast where Arami appears. The seal can be used twice, allowing for strategical movement such as a hit-and-run, which can be used to confuse enemy Masters.

▲ The effects are maximized when they are placed in narrow areas

Mana Drain is Arami’s passive skill. When she hits a target with her skill, the next weapon attack steals 75 MP from that target. It works effectively against Masters who rely heavily on MP such as Supports or Nukers.

Doppelganger creates an illusion that pulls enemies towards it. Arami becomes untargetable for 0.3 seconds and stealthed for 2 seconds along with increased movement speed, allowing her to escape from the enemy safely. Not only does it work well in dire situations, it can also be used to lose the enemy’s focus when a fight begins.

Glyph: Animate Golem is Arami’s ultimate skill. It animates a golem of molten stone which fights for Arami. The golem is animated through the glyph, and enemies standing on top of the glyph become airborne when the skill is casted. This is useful as a part of skills combination as well.

▲ The skill may also draw the enemy’s attention, delaying their attacks on allies.

Using Arami - An all-rounder Summoner even without ally Masters

It is recommended for Arami as a Summoner to be with ally Masters. Even though she has skills that can interrupt enemy movement, she does not possess any skill that can deal critical damage. However, she can deliver great performance when in a group with ally Masters.

Her weapon damage is considerably high, which allows her to level up easily by killing enemy units with low HP. It’s fine to tag along with the jungler and slay neutral monsters as well. However, you should be careful not to only focus on leveling up as you may miss out on fights in the lanes.

She is also capable of harassing enemies with her CC skills to some extent when ally Masters are out of the lanes. However, the longer she defends a lane by herself, the slower she levels up and the more vulnerable she becomes, thus it is better to call for help or join ally Masters and fight together.

▲ Use the weapon attack as much as possible and harass the enemies

You can interrupt enemy movement more actively by combining skills. Glyph: Hinder-Plasm creates a number of plasms that chases after the enemy, and the enemy’s movement speed is slowed by 50% on hit. You can then use Glyph: Binding on the slowed enemy and have your ally Masters follow up.

Glyph: Hinder-Plasm does not, however, focus the same target, instead hitting multiple targets when placed in the middle of a group. In this way, you can use the skill to split the enemy team if they are grouped together.

You can also attempt a guerrilla attack against the enemies. Glyph: Relocation allows Arami to attack and escape safely. With this skill, you can go in, deal damage or use CC skills, and then get out. Using this hit-and-run method can increase Arami’s presence, which can have a big impact on the flow of a match. The skill can also be used as a means of escape when needed.

When you and your team go in for the attack, but just need that last bit of damage, it’s time to use Arami’s ult. The enemy Masters are launched into the air when the golem is animated right beneath them, making them vulnerable for a short period of time. You can then finish them off with weapon attacks and your animated golem.

▲ You also need to use the effect of the skill alongside the golem
