What if a photo you took were instantly transformed into a game?

On the 19th, Nintendo surprised unveiling a new game called 'Pictonico!' that can be enjoyed using the user's photos.

Pictonico is a unique title that adapts photos stored on the device into fun mini-games. In the accompanying 31-second trailer, the person in the photo can be seen transforming into extraordinary forms, such as eating corn, peeling off a lobster, and unwrapping a mummy's bandages. This new title was co-developed by Nintendo and Intelligent Systems, known for the 'Made in Wario', 'Fire Emblem', and 'Paper Mario' series. It will be officially released on May 28 and is scheduled to be provided for free. Furthermore, Nintendo has also distanced itself from concerns regarding the leakage of personal information resulting from the use of the photo. Nintendo clarified that user photo data is not collected externally by specifying the phrase, "User photos are not transmitted to Nintendo."
