Com2uS Holdings (CEO Jung Chul-ho) announced on the 8th that it will release its classic action RPG, 'Zenonia 1: Thread of Memories' (hereinafter 'Zenonia 1'), on PC via Steam.
The Zenonia series is a landmark in mobile RPG history, having achieved 63 million cumulative global downloads. 'Zenonia 1,' the series' debut, was particularly beloved for delivering a deep story and detailed gameplay even within the limitations of the feature phone era. This Steam version preserves the original's unique charm while undergoing optimizations for modern play environments. Players can once again experience the immersive narrative on PC, including the adventures of the protagonist 'Regret' and his battle against the demon god 'Ladon.'
According to information currently available on the Steam page, players can choose from three classes—'Warrior,' 'Paladin,' and 'Assassin'—just like in the original mobile version. The game faithfully recreates original details such as the day-night cycle, the 'hunger system,' and the 'weight system,' while also featuring UI and quality-of-life upgrades tailored for PC. Com2uS Holdings plans to further expand the platform to include a Nintendo Switch version in the future.
Com2uS Holdings is securing new growth engines by expanding beyond its traditional mobile game business into the PC and console markets. In addition to Zenonia 1, the company plans to broaden its lineup across various genres, including 'Gaider Zero' for PC and Xbox, 'Fatal Claw' (currently in Steam Early Access), and 'Lone Chef,' which is scheduled for release in the second half of the year.
