Versions for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox Series X|S are scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2026. The announcement was made on April 21, 2026, in Milan, Italy, alongside the reveal of a new trailer.

'Whirlight: A Journey Through Time and Space' follows the chaos that ensues when Hector, a brilliant but eccentric inventor, accidentally opens a portal to unpredictable time travel during a mysterious experiment. Players take on the roles of Hector and his cool-headed, reliable partner, Margaret, as they traverse fractured timelines on an adventure filled with humor and mystery. Throughout the game, players will encounter a cast of unique characters whose lives are intricately intertwined across time.

The game offers a modern take on classic point-and-click gameplay. It features a distinct visual style that combines expressive 2D animated characters with meticulously crafted 3D pre-rendered backgrounds. In a world rendered in 4K resolution, players will solve creative puzzles that require logic, observation, and imagination while exploring over 100 different locations.
