SKT Huni admits on camera that he wants to play Lucian

On May 19th (PDT) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; SK Telecom T1 sweeped Flash Wolves in the first semifinals of Mid-Season Invitational 2017. After the match, Seunghoon "Huni" Heo was interviewed by Riot Games for his thoughts.

Huni shared that today's clean match was a result of lessons learned from pre-match scrims.

"We actually had problems during scrims, but we learned a lot from other teams like WE and G2. I adapted really fast because the metagame shifted a lot even during the MSI. I think SKT is the best at adapting to a metagame; that's why we are the best at Bo5."

When asked whether the team had a mental change coming into the match, he answered that it was more of fixing their own mistakes.

"It's still the same. When we lost against Flash Wolves and Team WE, we learned more than we did during scrims. We also made a lot of mistakes, so we just need to fix our own mistake instead of just trying to catch and punish our opponent's mistakes. From there, we could have our clean match today."

Huni suggested that WE looks stronger than G2 going into the semis, but he ultimately doesn't care either way.

"From the group stage, WE looks stronger than G2 even just by the record. WE won more games than G2, and they are just stronger and way more aggressive. The laning phase is the most important part of the current metagame, so I think WE is ahead in a way. However, I can face anyone. I don't care. I'm not worried at all."

Perhaps the most important part of the interview was Huni finally admitting that he wanted to play top Lucian.

"Actually, it's possible to play Lucian on toplane. (Do you want to play Lucian, Huni?) Yeah, I wanna play."

Huni ended the interview with an appreciation for the Brazilan crowd.

"There are nice places in Brazil, but I really badly wanted to come back to the MSI stage. We'll see you in the finals."
