T1 extends partnership with OP.GG

T1 Entertainment & Sports (T1) announced today that they have re-signed their partnership with global gaming data platform OP.GG Inc. (OP.GG). 

 

In their previous MOU, T1 and OP.GG actively helped promote one another by working together in order to produce new content and services respectively. The two will continue to cooperate with each other this year, not only with public relations, but with information and data exchanges, as well as technical support.

 

T1 and OP.GG both have something in common, which is that they both want to help expand the domestic esports ecosystem, as well as actively supporting retired athletes’ in their career building. As a result, the two companies will also push for various projects, such as the T1 Esports Academy, which fosters young players into becoming the next generation of professional gamers, as well as releasing educational content related to League of Legends.

 

T1’s CEO Joe Marsh explained, “We are excited to renew our partnership with OP.GG as the shared information, data and tech support has helped users in playing League of Legends. We hope to create a better ecosystem in esports and lead the way in esports with OP.GG

 

OP.GG CEO Choi Sang-rak stated, "I am delighted to continue our partnership with T1. Our partnerships will include sponsorship and collaboration to build a healthy ecosystem for esports industry."
