Team Liquid has released their newest collection, $project: LVTH-N. Designed for the shooter teams under the TL banner, the drop is tech-inspired with a futuristic lean. While you can check out the entirety of the five-piece collection on Team Liquid’s store, in this article we’ll run through a couple of our favorite looks with you.
The collection is anchored around the LVTH-N 2021 Long Sleeve Jersey. Gold trims Liquid’s navy in this long-sleeve look, while a repeating pattern of a cipher-like font that reads “LEVIATHAN” fades down the front and back of the jersey in a lighter blue. A detailed white stripe featuring the TL shield and collection name adorns the front and is reminiscent of the overlay from an FPS. In a nod to the often militaristic tones of tactical shooters, a blue camo lives on both side panels, also running down the underside of the sleeves.
For those seeking something less busy, the ALPHA SPINE Pullover looks like a great choice. This sweatshirt gets its name from the same “LEVIATHAN” design seen on the jersey presented in a single bold stripe down the center of the back. This makes quite a statement—crisp white resting in a field of the dark navy—and looks very clean. “LIQUID” is rendered in a similar style across the chest, while three icons sit between the shoulder and elbow on the right sleeve.
A good collection needs a solid tee. The LVTH-N R.O.D Short Sleeve Tee looks to be just that, featuring more of that bold, cryptic text. On the front chest, a warning icon sits atop an outline jumble reading “Ride or Die.” The design can be seen more clearly (yet cropped to fit) on the back in a contrasting black. This is a wonderful tech take on wildstyle that feels authentic. I’m not sure who over at TL designed this, but my hat is off.
It’s easy to see the pride that went into creating the LVTH-N 2021 collection for Team Liquid, and detailed shots of simple yet important aspects—like the TL shield on a cloth tag—are indicative of that. These pieces succeed in matching the tone of shooters like Valorant, while not leaning in too heavily into militaristic tropes that can overwhelm the design.
You can find the entire LVTH-N 2021 collection on Team Liquid’s store, available now.
