In the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season Round 2 match held at the LoL Park in Jongno on the 14th, kt Rolster defeated Kiwoom DRX 2-1. After a nail-biting series, they secured their 10th win of the season with a decisive victory in the final team fight.

The first set began with 'Aiming' Kim Ha-ram's Sivir and 'Effort' Lee Sang-ho's Karma securing an early duo kill. In the top lane, 'Cuzz' Moon Woo-chan's Pantheon responded perfectly to an enemy dive, picking up a double kill. Having seized control across all lanes, kt Rolster dominated the bottom lane skirmishes, racking up kills and building a significant lead. Their skill coordination and damage trading during dive situations were spectacular.

Kiwoom DRX managed to pick off 'Bdd' Gwak Bo-seong's Annie, but paid a heavy price, conceding four kills in the ensuing skirmish. Every time they tried to gain an advantage with 'Andil' Moon Gwan-bin's Bard, they were met with even fiercer counterattacks from kt Rolster. With a gold lead exceeding 10k at the 20-minute mark, kt Rolster easily secured Baron and destroyed the Nexus to take the first set.

Early in the second set, Kiwoom DRX scored solo kills in both the jungle and mid lane simultaneously. Although kt Rolster tried to stay in the game by forcing trades during rotations, Kiwoom DRX continued to find success in the mid-jungle area. Unlike the previous set, Kiwoom DRX led in every lane. They also won a decisive 5-on-5 bottom lane team fight that drew in both top laners. 'Ucal' Son Woo-hyeon's Orianna quickly snowballed to a 5/1/0 scoreline.

Kiwoom DRX secured both Baron and the Mountain Dragon Soul. While kt Rolster managed to narrow the gap by picking off 'Rich' Lee Jae-won's Kennen and 'Willer' Kim Jeong-hyeon's Vi, they were forced to concede a second Baron after 'Cuzz's Jarvan IV was caught out. While scouting for the Elder Dragon, 'Lazyfill's' Yunaara initiated a fight by deleting 'Effort's' Nami, allowing Kiwoom DRX to sweep the remaining members and close out the set.

In the decisive third set, kt Rolster turned the tables on Kiwoom DRX's aggressive Caitlyn-Lux bottom lane, picking up multiple kills. Kiwoom DRX attempted to balance the scales by repeatedly targeting 'Bdd's' Hwei, but they lost control of the game after a major defeat at the dragon pit. 'Cuzz's' Naafiri stole the dragon, and additional kills went to Hwei and 'Aiming's' Jhin.

From there, kt Rolster dominated every dragon team fight, eventually securing the Mountain Soul. Kiwoom DRX showed their resilience, however; they initiated a fight on the flashless Hwei to trade 2-for-1 and then pulled off a miraculous clean ace at Baron. Nevertheless, a regrouped kt Rolster minimized their losses at Baron thanks to 'Perfect' Lee Seung-min's Zahan drop. Finally, kt Rolster secured the third set victory by sweeping four kills in a team fight at the Elder Dragon.
