Following yesterday's reverse sweep, another reverse sweep unfolded today.

On September 3, Dplus KIA secured a dramatic victory after dropping the first two games to win three straight in their 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) playoff match against BNK FearX at the Chzzk LoL Park in Jongno. With this win, DK advanced to the next round, where they will face kt Rolster tomorrow in another Bo5 series, with the winner qualifying for Worlds. Meanwhile, today's loser, BNK FearX, suffered a heartbreaking elimination following back-to-back 2-3 losses.

In the decisive Game 5, DK claimed first blood early on when 'Siwoo' on Varus won a level 3 1v1 duel against 'Clear''s Kled, while a river skirmish saw a trade of Kindred and Thresh. Thanks to the solo kill, Varus gave DK firm control over top lane priority. BFX answered by picking up a kill on 'Smash''s Ziggs through a bottom dive, but the gap in top lane had already grown wider than expected.

Still, BFX stayed in step by securing the first two dragon stacks. However, in the next dragon teamfight, DK seized momentum by taking down 'Raptor''s Maokai first. Wiping four enemy players without losing a single champion—sparing only the enemy Thresh—DK stretched the gold lead to 7,000 by the 18-minute mark. BFX were forced to stall for time and endure rather than attempt risky plays.

After comfortably securing Baron shortly after, DK widened the gold gap to over 10,000. Snowballing steadily, DK destroyed BFX's Nexus in just 24 minutes to complete the reverse sweep. DK will now face kt Rolster tomorrow.
