Global game company NetEase Games and its subsidiary developer Everstone Studio have unveiled a large-scale new content roadmap for the open-world martial arts action RPG Where Winds Meet to mark its half-anniversary. Through this roadmap, details of the new expansion pack "Dawn of the Palace," scheduled for release in late May, were introduced. News was also shared regarding the release of a limited-time Panda costume, the implementation of a new Family Business and Alliance system, and the addition of new weapons. An event is also being held to celebrate the half-anniversary, allowing players to acquire three types of free cosmetic items. Following the Hexi expansion pack, the new expansion "Dawn of the Palace" is set against the backdrop of an intricately designed, previously unrevealed region spanning one million square meters. In this new map modeled after an Oriental-style palace, players will encounter nearly 3,000 NPCs and various clans, unraveling a new story hidden behind the facade of the Imperial Family. In addition, a new panda costume, designed to raise awareness about wildlife protection, will be released for a limited time of one month starting May 20 as part of social contribution activities. In June, various new systems and content will be introduced to provide Yanyun players with a new experience of the Jianghu. A family business system, allowing players to manage a farm set against the backdrop of Qinghe—the spiritual home of users—and a new alliance system are scheduled to be implemented. New PVE content, such as exploring ancient caves or enjoying 5-player cooperative play, as well as a new weapon called the Gauntlet, will also be available in the game. The Yanyun development team also announced that they have applied over 100 updates and implemented optimizations over the past two months. To mark the half-anniversary of launch, they plan to take more proactive measures to address player inconveniences, including weapon balance adjustments and optimization for new global region servers.
