Smilegate announced on Friday the 24th that 'Epic Seven,' a mobile turn-based strategy RPG developed by Super Creative, has released a new limited-time summer hero, 'Ove.'

Ove is a key character in Epic Seven's 2026 summer special side story, 'Show Me Everything.' As an assistant and photographer to the Skuggiheim informant 'Birgitta,' Ove embarks on a journey to track the movements of 'Harsetti,' the King of Shadow Elves. The story unfolds as Ove discovers a dormant desire within while investigating the coastline, adding an intriguing layer to the narrative.

Reflecting her role as a photographer, Ove is a hero specialized in disrupting the enemy's combat flow. Her third skill, 'Eternal Moment,' is themed around trapping enemies within a camera frame; it dispels two buffs and inflicts 'Stun' and 'Restrict,' debuffs that lock the enemy's combat readiness. Additionally, she can enter a 'Stealth' state during battle, making her untargetable, and when combined with her second skill, she gains a skill damage nullification effect, further increasing her survivability. Her second skill, 'Film FIESTA,' grants 'Surge' to all allies with a high probability, boosting their offensive capabilities. Surge is a buff that deals additional fixed damage to the target upon attack.
