T1 secured their place in the EWC main stage on the 25th after defeating Dplus KIA 3-1 in the winner's final of the EWC qualifiers held at the Sangam SOOP Colosseum.

Early in the first game, Dplus KIA started strong as 'Lucid's' Naafiri ganked the bottom lane, taking down T1's Jhin (played by 'Peyz') and Karma (played by 'Keria'). While Dplus KIA continued to pressure the bottom lane, T1's 'Oner' rotated his Trundle to the mid lane to secure a kill on 'ShowMaker's' Cassiopeia.
T1 subsequently found success in the bottom lane and secured a dragon. With Trundle continuing to make plays, T1 pulled ahead. By the 19-minute mark, T1 had built a lead of over 3k gold and secured three dragon stacks by winning skirmishes around the Rift Herald and dragon pits.
T1 then picked off 'Siwoo's' K'Sante and secured Baron. They immediately followed up by claiming the Dragon Soul to seize momentum, then cleanly won the next teamfight at the Baron spawn to take the first game.
In the second game, T1's 'Doran' (Sion) ambushed the bottom lane bush to catch 'Smash's' Ziggs early. Dplus KIA responded well to T1's overextension, picking up kills on Lee Sin, Sylas, and Seraphine. Despite the earlier losses, T1 managed to turn the tide when 'Peyz's' Ashe landed a long-range ultimate to help secure kills on Xin Zhao and Pyke.
However, Dplus KIA fought back; 'Lucid' secured the Rift Herald despite T1 initiating it, and a strong teamfight saw them take down Sion. When T1 attempted to sneak Baron while 'Lucid's' Xin Zhao was absent, Dplus KIA's remaining players set up a superior formation to stop the attempt and secure the Baron for themselves.
Trailing by over 5k gold, T1 even lost their top inhibitor. But then, 'Oner's' Lee Sin caught Pyke, sparking a massive relay of skirmishes in the top lane where T1 scored a decisive victory to erase the gold deficit. Although Dplus KIA secured the Dragon Soul, they eventually pushed forward, caught T1's damage dealers, and destroyed the Nexus to tie the series 1-1.
In the third game, 'Faker's' Ryze roamed to the bottom lane early to secure first blood on 'Smash's' Nilah. T1 continued to pressure the bottom lane by finding another kill on Nilah. Dplus KIA responded with an Ahri-Vi combo to shut down Ryze in the mid lane. Although 'Siwoo's' Renekton was caught in the bottom lane, he bought significant time, allowing Dplus KIA to take down 'Doran's' Ambessa in the mid lane.
During the Rift Herald teamfight, Dplus KIA lost two members but, with the remaining players in good condition, they secured the Herald. Later, Lulu protected Vi from danger, helping Dplus KIA win the skirmish. T1, however, managed to stack three dragons. Despite Dplus KIA's impressive plays and skirmishing, T1 used their superior speed to pick off Vi and Renekton before securing Baron. After a series of chaotic fights, T1 utilized Poppy during the Elder Dragon spawn to secure the buff and clean up the remaining opponents to win the game.
In the fourth game, after an even 1-for-1 trade in the top lane, Dplus KIA countered T1's play with clever positioning to win a teamfight, highlighted by 'Lucid's' Wukong clone mind games. Despite being behind, T1 secured the Rift Herald, while Dplus KIA built up two dragon stacks.
Both teams fought desperately for the next dragon. While the skirmish resulted in an even trade, T1 secured the dragon, halting Dplus KIA's stack. Dplus KIA then caught 'Oner's' Nocturne and headed for Baron. T1 sacrificed 'Faker's' Annie to successfully stall the Baron attempt.
Dplus KIA won the subsequent top lane teamfight to widen the gap. However, while Dplus KIA was positioned at the next dragon, Annie suddenly initiated a teamfight that T₩1 decisively. T1 secured the dragon and Baron, completely erasing the gold lead. T1 then cleanly won the final teamfight to complete a comeback, defeating Dplus KIA 3-1 and advancing to the EWC main stage.
Meanwhile, a total of four teams from Korea will participate in the EWC. Last year's champions, Gen.G, participate as a seed, and T1 has now confirmed their spot by winning today's Korean qualifier winner's final. The remaining two spots will be determined by future tournament results: one will go to the winner of the 'Road to MSI,' and the final ticket will be awarded to the team that emerges from the remaining schedule of the ongoing 'EWC Korean Qualifiers'.
