Perfect World Games announced a collaboration with Samsung Electronics to release a special theme for the 'new Galaxy Z series' featuring 'Neverness to Everness,' a new urban open world RPG developed by Hotta Studio, a subsidiary of Perfect World.

This collaboration was launched to commemorate the release of Samsung Electronics' next-generation flagship foldable phones: the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8, and Flip8.

The 'Neverness to Everness' Mint special theme is inspired by 'Mint,' a bright and friendly core member of the Paranormal Bureau's Containment Team 2. The theme captures Mint's vibrant and lovely personality through an emotional design integrated across the smartphone, including the lock screen, icons, wallpapers, and key app interfaces.

This special theme is offered as an exclusive benefit for customers who purchase the new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8, or Flip8. Customers in Korea who purchase and activate these devices can download the theme by visiting the special event page within the Galaxy Store. The download period runs from August 4 to October 31.

An offline event where users can also obtain the special theme will be held at five Samsung Store locations nationwide: Hongdae, Daejeon, Sangmu, Shinsegae Daegu, and Shinsegae Centum City.

Visitors can download the special theme by tagging their Galaxy smartphone to an NFC terminal on-site; this event runs from July 23 to August 3. Notably, on the first day of the event, July 23, a limited quantity of 300 Galaxy Store discount coupons worth ₩20k will be distributed per store.

The centerpiece of this collaboration, 'Echocalypse' (이환), is a supernatural urban fantasy open world RPG that has gained significant popularity among global subculture gamers for its blend of free-roaming urban exploration and diverse life content, such as decorating one's own personal space. With its recent 1.2 version major update, the game introduced a new character, 'Shinku,' and a new anomaly board game mode titled '999-Day Night Tale,' continuing to expand the unique appeal of the game through consistent updates.

Meanwhile, the newly released Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra features an even wider large screen and an optimized display ratio, providing a comfortable experience for the game's beautiful, vibrant 3D graphics and dynamic open world exploration. This allows users to take in the intricate details of 'Hetero City,' where supernatural 'anomalies' coexist, with a wide field of view, promising a more immersive and comfortable gameplay experience.
