We were pleased to see so many repeat entrants from previous week; if at first you don't succeed, submit another clip! Our outplay category had some very cool clips, so choosing two winners was a challenge. It seems as if funny clips are harder to come by then moments of sheer skill, so here is a tip for next week: your humourous clips have a good chance of being selected!

Let's get to the winning clips!

Outplay or Skillful

Clip submission name: McCree goes on a killing spree!

There’s nothing quite like a good McCree. This marksman racks up four solid kills and has to be feeling good, but urgency dawns on him as Mercy zooms in. The entire team is rezzed, and he knows his time is short, but in one last act of defiance he ults and manages to take three more with him. We loved this clip for the fluid and accurate McCree play, and the sheer defiance of his ult before the end.

Clip submission name: Doomfist bashing skulls montage

In this beautifully pieced together ‘mini montage’ we get just under a minute of Doomfist taking names, and bashing skulls. What we love most about this video is that the submitter has a clear understanding of what makes a Doomfist successful. Using his entire kit as both offense, targeting enemies, and defense, juking and diving around. Aspiring Doomfist players take note.

Funny or Lucky

Clip submission name:
Orisa waves goodbey

Although the action follows D.Va, the real star of this clip is the unfortunate Orisa. At first watch it seems like she was too focused on her duel with Zarya and fell off the cliff. However, if you look closely you can see her wave goodbye as soon as she takes the plunge. With her friends waiting to respawn, she knew she could never take the point on her own. We chose this clip to stand in solidarity with all downtrodden Orisa units of the world.

Clip submission name:
Widowmaker dies of shame

This clip is so simple, but it might be our favorite one yet. Two Widowmakers on opposing teams square off. Both know where the other is, and the fate of the round rests on both of their shoulders. The Widow of our point of view activates her ult as the other tries to find a way around and… trips? Yep she pretty much trips. Well not every great stand off leads to a stunning finale. Unexpected and hilarious, we thought this was the perfect kind of clip to win in this category.

Congratulations to our winners!
