Monkey madness: week #2's winning clips revealed!

▲ Four winners every week!

We had a lot of fun going over this week's clips. As usual, it was difficult choosing the winners, but we eventually came to an agreement. Remember, every clip submitted is eligible to win each week, meaning the coolest clips will always get there fair chance to win!

Without further adieu, here are our favorite clips from the 2nd week!

Outplay or Skillful

Clip submission name: Seamless team play

At its core, Overwatch is a team game. A group of six working together, using their abilities in conjunction with each other to win the game. Nothing embodies that more than a perfect Zarya ult. She groups them up, Genji and McCree knock them down. We chose this clip as a winner because while Zarya was the driving force, she shared the credit with her team. And isn’t that what’s important?

Clip submission title: Faster, Faster, Faster!

Already one of the flashiest heroes in the game, there comes a point where a Genji is so precise that his Play of the Game becomes hard to make sense of. After rewatching this clip several times, and slowing it down to look at each frame, we came to the conclusion that we will never be this good. This clip was a winner in our eyes for Genji’s beautifully fluid dismantling of the other team, but our favorite part is the brief glimpse of D.Va’s wildly overshadowed Tracer kill at the end.

Funny Or Lucky

Clip submission title: Two of Winston's crazy adventures.

Do you believe in miracles? Reinhardt thought he was so clever with his suicidal attack on Winston, pushing him out far enough where even his jump can’t bring him back. At the start, it looks like it worked too, but Winston’s big toe just barely lands on the balcony and the hitbox catches on. We chose this clip in honor of all who have unwillingly taken the long plunge from an overzealous Reinhardt.

The second clip, submitted by the same Winston player is equally hilarious. We chose this clip because there’s a poetic story of karma and treating others how you want to be treated here, but it's presented in a clip of two gorillas scientists bashing each other into walls. Almost brings a tear to the eye.

Clip submission title:
The tables have turned-- instantly!

Death Blossom is one of the most destructive ultimates in the game, so getting a full team wipe with it isn't the most surprising thing in the world. But the speed in which every enemy hero dies, while Reapers team is all simultaneously resurrected is just too funny. Imagine actually being in this game and having it almost instantaneously flip on its head. Hats off to Reaper for the sneaky flank!

Congratulations to our winners! You will be contacted shortly via email with regards to claiming your b.net balance prize.
