It was a valuable victory against a formidable opponent like T1, achieved despite an unstable situation that saw rookie 'Fenrir' called up following internal discord.

In Game 1, T1 started strong as 'Oner' Moon Hyeon-joon's Vi secured a double kill during a bottom lane gank. kt Rolster managed to counterattack thanks to a clutch save by 'Bdd' Kwak Bo-seong, which turned the tide of a mid-lane skirmish. They then picked off 'Phase' Kim Su-hwan's Viktor and 'Keria' Ryu Min-seok's Leona in succession to secure the first Dragon.

'Faker' Lee Sang-hyeok's Akali broke the stalemate for T1. After 'Doran' Choi Hyun-joon's Ambessa was caught out, Faker used exceptional movement and spacing to lead T1 to victory in a top-lane skirmish. The teams continued to trade kills in a tense battle. In Game 2, kt Rolster signaled their intent early as 'Bdd's Yone secured a triple kill, a play highlighted by fantastic skill coordination between the mid, jungle, and support. This was a red flag for T1, who needed to exert pressure on the side lanes, but T1 showed resilience by finding kills in areas where Yone was absent to keep their hopes alive.

Around the 25-minute mark, T1 executed a perfect CC chain starting with 'Salsangyeonhui' to instantly delete Yone, allowing them to defend their Dragon Soul. However, a major disaster struck when 'Oner's Lee Sin and 'Doran's Jayce were caught out simultaneously. kt Rolster capitalized by taking Baron, catching 'Faker's Ryze, and securing the Ocean Soul.
