Gen.G secured a clean 2-0 victory over HLE Brion in their 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) regular season Round 2 match held at LoL PARK in Jonggak on the 29th, finishing their regular season campaign with a 14-4 record.

In Game 1, Chovy’s Ryze dominated the laning phase against Romer’s Taliyah from the start. Gen.G also secured an early kill in the bottom lane, and Ryze roamed to the top lane to take down Casting’s Yorick. While HLE Brion managed to stack two Dragons, Gen.G pulled ahead by consistently picking up kills.

Desperate to keep up with the Dragon count, Brion managed to steal the third Dragon, but they lost several players in the process, allowing the gold lead to widen to 6k by the 20-minute mark. As Gen.G began to dominate the jungle, Brion attempted to contest the next Dragon instead of conceding it, only to be wiped out by Gen.G’s overwhelming force.

After securing the Dragon and the Baron, Gen.G pushed aggressively, destroying Brion’s Nexus in 29 minutes to take the win.

In the following second game, Canyon’s Jarvan ganked the top lane to take down Casting’s Sion, while HLE Brion responded by catching Ruler’s Ziggs in the bottom lane. Brion managed to keep pace with Gen.G’s tempo by finding kills in the bottom lane.

The tense balance between the two teams was broken during a mid-lane skirmish. Gen.G’s superior coordination led to a decisive team fight victory, widening the gap significantly, and they followed up by winning the subsequent fight for the next Dragon.

Looking to overcome their deficit, HLE Brion attempted to force teamfights. They targeted Ziggs in the mid lane, but Ruler responded calmly, and with Duro’s Nautilus joining the fray to disrupt the opponents, Gen.G turned the situation to their advantage once again. Continuing to snowball, Gen.G secured the Baron and extended their gold lead to over 15k. Giving their opponents no room to breathe, Gen.G closed out the series 2-0, concluding their Round 2 schedule with a 14-4 record.
