The Battle for VCT Pacific 2026 Begins in Bangkok as Ten Teams Clash at VCT Ascension Pacific 2025

The final leg of the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Ascension Pacific 2025 has officially begun in Bangkok, setting the stage for one of the most competitive regional showdowns in Asia-Pacific esports. Running from October 14 to 26 at the Imperial Samrong Convention Hall, ten teams from across APAC will battle for two coveted slots in the VCT Pacific League 2026 and a share of the $100,000 prize pool.

The event represents the culmination of a year-long regional circuit, spotlighting both rising stars and seasoned organizations. Among them, India’s Velocity Gaming will carry the hopes of South Asia as the region’s sole representative, following their 3-1 victory over S8UL in the OMEN VALORANT Challengers South Asia 2025 Ascension Qualifiers.

With the Ascension format designed to promote emerging teams into Riot Games’ international league ecosystem, this tournament serves as the final gateway for aspiring organizations seeking to compete alongside established VCT Pacific franchises in 2026.

The ten qualified teams include Velocity Gaming (South Asia); BOOM Esports and Nongshim RedForce (VCT Pacific); Motiv Esports, NAOS, FULL SENSE, and Team NKT (Southeast Asia); RIDDLE ORDER (Japan); SLT Seongnam (Korea); and E-KING (Oceania).

The Group Stage, running from October 14–21, divides the competitors into two groups of five, with round-robin best-of-three matchups determining the top six advancing to the Playoffs. The Playoffs (October 22–26) will feature a modified double-elimination format, concluding with two best-of-five finals that decide which teams ascend to the Pacific League next year.

Fans will have the opportunity to watch the final weekend live from October 24–26 at the Imperial Samrong Convention Hall, with tickets available through Ticketmelon. As the action unfolds, all eyes remain on Bangkok — where one of these ten teams will secure a place among the Pacific elite, marking the next chapter in VALORANT’s growing presence across Asia.
