HoYoverse Korea announced on the 23rd that it has partnered with Samsung Electronics to release two special themes commemorating the launch of the new Galaxy Z series, featuring the open-world RPG 'Genshin Impact' and the space fantasy RPG 'Honkai: Star Rail'.

This collaboration was designed to celebrate the launch of Samsung's next-generation flagship foldable phones—the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8, and Flip8—allowing users to experience the characters and worlds of HoYoverse games in an immersive way on their Galaxy mobile screens.

The 'Genshin Impact' special theme features a mysterious journey guided by Lyney, complete with custom lock screens, wallpapers, and unique icons. It captures the character's bright and cheerful atmosphere, allowing users to experience the essence of 'Genshin Impact' in their daily lives.

The 'Honkai: Star Rail' special theme, titled 'Blade's Night,' centers on the character Blade. It incorporates graphic elements such as sword imagery and flame effects to capture the character's intense aura on the screen.

The two HoYoverse special themes will be available to customers in Korea who purchase and activate the new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8, or Flip8. They can be downloaded from the special theme event page within the Galaxy Store from August 4 to October 31.

Offline events will also be held where users can experience the special themes. By visiting one of five designated Samsung Store locations—Hongdae, Daejeon, Sangmu, Shinsegae Daegu, or Shinsegae Centum City—customers can tag their Galaxy smartphones to an on-site NFC terminal to download the themes.

The offline event runs from July 23 to August 3. On the first day of the event, a limited quantity of 300 Galaxy Store discount coupons worth ₩20k will be distributed at each store

During the same period, experience events will also be held at 'Genshin Café in Seoul' and 'Genshin PC Lounge.' Visitors can try out the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Fold8 on-site, download the Genshin Impact special theme, and participate in a Galaxy Store discount coupon event. The discount coupon event will take place for one day only, on July 23.

Meanwhile, the newly released Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra features a larger screen and an optimized display ratio, providing a comfortable gaming environment where users can enjoy the graphics and visual effects of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail with greater clarity.
