VAIV Company (CEO Park Seong-tae) announced on the 14th that it has added a new limited-time summer character, 'Heatwave Cop Delta,' to its subculture RPG 'OUTERPLANE' and launched a major summer season update.

The new character, 'Heatwave Cop Delta,' features the popular character Delta, beloved by players, transformed into a free-spirited summer resort police officer. As an Earth-attribute speed-based damage dealer, she offers a fresh appeal with powerful attack abilities that ignore enemy Defense, alongside a unique summer-themed design and animations.

Additionally, a new event dungeon, 'Automaton of the Horizon,' has been added. Set on a secret artificial beach prepared by Delta, the story follows her as she resolves various happenings and creates special summer memories.

Players can earn character growth Resources and various Items by playing the event dungeon and exchange collected event currency for rewards in the dedicated Shop. The first week of 'Automaton of the Horizon' content opens on July 14, with the second week arriving on July 21; the event will run until 9:00 AM on August 4.

Various summer-themed events and content updates are also underway. These include a summer attendance event, daily missions, and a lucky roulette, offering participants generous rewards such as summon tickets and growth Resources.

Furthermore, new summer costumes for four characters—'Monad Yota,' 'Demiurge Lupa,' 'Viela,' and 'Karen'—have been added, showcasing a different side of each character. A new 'Shichifusha' season has also opened for the Boss content, 'Co-op Challenge,' providing players with new combat experiences and challenges.

A representative from VAIV Company stated, "We prepared this update so that Outerplane players can enjoy the new character, event story, and various summer content together," adding, "We also plan to present diverse programs at Comic World where visitors can experience the charm of Outerplane firsthand, so we ask for your continued interest."

Meanwhile, in conjunction with this summer's update, Major9 will participate in 'Comic World SUMMER 2026,' held at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, from July 18 to 19. The company will operate an 'Outerplane' booth featuring a summer resort theme, offering various on-site events and exclusive game merchandise for players and visitors. Additionally, cosplayers Ret and Mieum will be in attendance, with model Kang In-kyung also scheduled to meet fans on Saturday, July 18.
