HAEGIN announced on the 5th that its mobile idle baseball game, 2026 Professional Baseball GO, has launched a new season featuring the 1990s—the golden era of Korean baseball—and implemented a major overhaul of its core development systems to help players boost their team's strength.

The update, which went live following regular maintenance on the 4th, focuses on expanding era-specific content to stir nostalgia among veteran baseball fans, while also introducing a generational shift in the development system to make player growth more rewarding.

The most anticipated addition is the new season and stage expansion covering the years 1990 to 1999. This update introduces a wide array of player cards from that era, including standard cards, iconic franchise players, and top-tier 'Monster' player cards. Additionally, new player lineups and exclusive transcendence items for the KT Wiz and NC Dinos have been added, allowing users to build more diverse and powerful dream teams.

The Player Contract Center, as well as the transcendence and breakthrough systems—the core of team management—have also been revamped. The trade system has been improved for better user experience, with clearer visibility for upgrade probability and point bars, enabling more strategic recruitment of desired players. Furthermore, with the maximum player card level increased from 40 to 50, the stat balance and material requirements for the breakthrough and transcendence systems have been optimized to push player potential to the limit, significantly enhancing the sense of achievement in player development.

In addition, the 'Star 1 League,' a higher tier for the asynchronous competitive 'Division League' mode, has been added to provide more intense ranking competition. The difficulty levels for major game modes—including Idle League, Daily Mode, and Infinite Mode—as well as Guild Breakthrough battles, have been adjusted to better support smooth player progression.
