Bilibili will host its comprehensive subculture festival, 'Bilibili World 2026,' at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai from July 10 to 12.
Bilibili World is an annual subculture event held since 2017 that covers a wide range of fields, including Chinese subculture games, animation, plastic models, martial arts, fan-made content, and merchandise. While previously less known in Korea, the event gained recognition starting in 2023 with the participation of Blue Archive, followed by various other subculture games such as Goddess of Victory: Nikke, Trickcal, and others.
Bilibili World 2026 has expanded significantly, occupying seven of the eight halls on the first floor of the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, up from five halls last year. Each hall features a variety of booths themed around games, anime, and manga. The event will showcase existing hits like 'Honkai: Star Rail', 'Wuthering Waves', and 'Arknights: Endfield', alongside a range of new titles. Notably, several new open-world games, including 'Azur Promilia' and 'Silver Palace'—both of which have held CBTs in Korea—are set to meet with users in person.
Korean game companies are also actively participating. 'Blue Archive', which has met with Chinese fans annually since 2023, and 'Trickcal Revive', which is serviced in China and globally through the event organizer Bilibili, have announced their participation, along with other titles such as 'Goddess of Victory: Nikke' and 'Brown Dust 2'. The growing interest in Bilibili World is further evidenced by the confirmed participation of non-subculture games like 'DAVE THE DIVER' and 'Eternal Return'.
In addition, major international console and indie games such as 'Death Stranding 2', 'Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Resinked', and 'Dead Cells' are also taking part. Notably, Game Science, the developer of 'Black Myth: Wukong', will exhibit under the booth name 'Black Myth', drawing attention to whether they will reveal further information about their next project currently in development, 'Black Myth: Zhong Kui'.
Bilibili World 2026 will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai from July 10 to 12, and further information can be found on the official website.
