Nexon announced on the 2nd that it will host 'Vibe Camp,' a global game camp where participants can create and enjoy games using the 'MapleStory' IP.

Vibe Camp is a three-week global program starting on the 8th, during which participants will develop their own games using the 'MapleStory' IP.
There are no specific eligibility requirements; anyone who enjoys 'MapleStory' can participate, even if they are not a developer.
While team participation is allowed, each game must be submitted under a single account. During the camp, subscribers to the MSU Builder web platform will be provided with unlimited credits for game development.
The final deadline for game submissions is the 29th. NEXPACE will announce the final winners on July 22 after a review process. The total prize pool is $60k (approximately ₩90 million), and winners will be awarded NXPC tokens equivalent to the dollar amount at the time of distribution.
Notably, NEXPACE plans to provide winners with the 'Winner's Stack,' a support package covering the entire global launch process. This includes development support such as game design consulting, business model design, and engineering mentorship.
Furthermore, NEXPACE will directly manage overall publishing for launches on the App Store, Google Play, and Steam, as well as joint marketing efforts using 'MapleStory' channels.
The event will utilize the Verse8 platform as its development environment and service space. Verse8 is a platform that provides prompt-based AI 'Vibe' coding tools, and camp participants will build their games within 'MSU Space,' a dedicated area inside Verse8.
The system works by having users describe the type of game they want in plain language, which Verse8's AI technology then implements by combining it with an asset library of 'MapleStory' characters, monsters, backgrounds, and music. NEXPACE plans to showcase a live demo of the Verse8 tools during an online seminar on the 11th.
