Speculation has emerged that the next Call of Duty title may be set in South Korea.
On the 28th, the official Call of Duty YouTube Channel began a live stream titled 'Camera 004.' While the channel typically operates in English, this stream has drawn attention for its unusual use of a Korean title.
What is particularly noteworthy is that the location shown on camera is none other than a street in South Korea. In the live video, signs and banners written in Korean are clearly visible, including a business named 'Sea Waves' (Bada-ui Pado), as well as others reading 'Wholesale Accessories,' 'Eye Clinic,' and 'Fish-shaped pastry.' The atmosphere is further heightened by the sounds of military helicopters and static, adding to the sense of tension.
With the start of this teaser-style live broadcast, an official announcement for the new title appears imminent, and it is expected that more concrete details will be revealed in the near future.
Meanwhile, it has been officially confirmed that the 2026 Call of Duty title is a sequel to Modern Warfare currently being developed by Infinity Ward.
