Riot Games announced on Saturday morning that they are set to not only expand the League of Legends universe with another title but a new platform as well: the console.

First teased back in December of last year, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is being developed by Airship Syndicate and published by Riot Forge. The single-player, story-driven, turn-based RPG is set to be released early next year after an announcement trailer was released by the company in the morning that showed off a little of what the game may be about.

From the gameplay trailer above, players will be able to play as Yasuo, Illaoi, Ahri, Miss Fortune, Braum and Pyke as they navigate the treacherous high seas of the Runterra Bilgewater region and The Shadow Isles.

According to the game's official site, players can look forward to:

"Unite a party of League of Legends Champions, explore Bilgewater and set sail for the Shadow Isles to uncover the secrets of the deadly Black Mist."

Little information is known but the title will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam and The Epic Games Store when it launches, according to Riot Games. Soon thereafter, players will be able to upgrade their version for free to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
