Smilegate announced on the 17th that Epic Seven, the mobile turn-based strategy RPG developed by Super Creative, will participate in Steam Next Fest 2026, held from October 19 to 26 Pacific Standard Time (PST).
Steam Next Fest is an event where players can try free demos of upcoming games on Steam for one week. It is held three times a year in February, June, and October.
The Epic Seven demo will open ahead of the event, running from October 8 to 26. In the demo, players can experience combat content including the main story, Brawl, Battlefield of the War God, and Automaton Tower. PvP modes such as Normal Arena and Rookie Arena will also be accessible.
During the event period, Smilegate plans to provide Skystones, summoning currency, and growth materials needed for testing, as well as equipment sets in the latter half of the event.
Epic Seven is scheduled to officially launch on Steam within 2026. Players will be able to play with their existing accounts by linking them to Steam, and the game will also introduce a new region featuring an independent matchmaking server for new users, alongside controller support. The Steam store page opened on August 22, and a wishlist event is currently underway.
