This Wednesday, British organization Excel Esports announced the departure of their Top Laner Ki "Expect" Dae-han from its League of Legends European Championship roster. The team had been planning roster moves for the upcoming Split, changing their Top Lane and Mid Lane positions.

Present in the team since December 2018, Expect was their starting Top Laner for the 2020 Spring Split. The player has found success outside of South Korea, playing for teams in China and in Europe.

Previously, the Top Laner took part in rosters like Fnatic, Origen and G2 Esports, making it to the League of Legends Worlds Championship in 2017. Earlier this year, Expect got to first place with Excel Esports in the Neosurf Cup, defeating Misfits Gaming 3-2.

Excel has not made any statements regarding roster additions, or if their Academy team Top LanerRosendo “Send0o” Fuentes, who had taken second place in the UK League Championship 2020, and is set to compete with Excel for EU Masters starting this week.
