The following was sent to Inven Global as a press release.
FlyQuest has announced SUPER TREEQUEST, an expansion of their existing TreeQuest campaign which combines in-game LCS and Academy team performance with a real world commitment to planting trees. SUPER TREEQUEST will double the amount of trees FlyQuest plants during Playoff matches, and will include a commitment to plant an additional 10,000 trees should the team win the 2020 League of Legends Championship Series Spring Finals.
The trees planted for SUPER TREEQUEST will be based on a number of criteria during each of FlyQuest’s Playoff games. They will be planting 200 trees each time FlyQuest wins a game during the Playoffs, 2 trees each time a FlyQuest player gets a kill during a match, and 20 trees every time ANY team takes an Ocean Drake during an LCS Playoff match.
During the regular season for the 2020 LCS Spring Split, FlyQuest planted 5,058 trees for TreeQuest on their way to a top 4 finish. TreeQuest has also inspired teams such as Cloud9, TSM, and Dignitas to contribute “friendship trees” towards the cause, while leading the way for other versions such as “BookQuest” by Evil Geniuses.
At the end of Playoffs, FlyQuest will be donating to the OneTreePlanted Organization for the final sum of trees planted during TreeQuest and SUPER TREEQUEST.
FlyQuest kicks off their post-season against Evil Geniuses on Saturday, April 4th, at 1 PM PST in a best-of-5 series to determine who moves on to the winner’s finals of the 2020 LCS Spring Playoffs bracket.
