The NC Cultural Foundation (Chairperson Park Myeong-jin) and the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture (CEO Song Hyung-jong) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on August 4, aimed at revitalizing culture and arts in the Seoul region.

The purpose of this agreement is to expand stages where artists can create and present their work, while simultaneously providing citizens with opportunities to enjoy high-quality culture and arts. Both organizations have committed to establishing a close and organic system of exchange and cooperation across various cultural and artistic fields.

Leveraging the fact that both institutions are located in Daehak-ro, a hub for culture and arts, they will also participate in the 'Dae-rak-ro' campaign to revitalize the area. Furthermore, they plan to consistently identify collaborative models that broaden the creative foundation for artists and add vitality to the local arts scene, while gradually increasing joint projects, performance exchanges, and artist network collaborations.

Concrete results are expected to emerge starting in the second half of the year. Works discovered through 'STAGE 100,' a support platform for young artists operated by the NC Cultural Foundation, will be featured on the 'Seasonal Theater' stage—a showcase held prior to performances at the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture. Discussions are also underway regarding related content that audiences can enjoy after watching the performances.

Park Myeong-jin, Chairperson of the NC Cultural Foundation, stated, "We expect to create significant synergy by combining the cultural and artistic expertise and resources of both organizations. We are committed to effectively implementing practical programs that breathe life into the local community, such as the Daehak-ro revitalization campaign."

Meanwhile, the NC Cultural Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2012, coinciding with NC's 15th anniversary, to carry out systematic and sustainable social responsibility initiatives. It has been conducting various social contribution projects with the goal of fostering a creative and inclusive cultural ecosystem for the qualitative advancement of our society.
