PeroPero has launched the Steam page for 'Muse Dash 2,' the official sequel to the rhythm action game 'Muse Dash.'
Like its predecessor, 'Muse Dash 2' is a running rhythm action game where players strike incoming enemies in time with the music while navigating between two lanes—top and bottom—to avoid obstacles and collect rewards. The Steam page highlights overall graphical improvements, including animated cover art, exclusive music pack wallpapers, and interactive 3D parallax backgrounds.
Notably, the game introduces a collection of minigames and a new rhythm battle (multiplayer) mode for playing with friends, alongside the core rhythm gameplay. The character lineup remains consistent with the original, featuring Rin, Buro, and Marija.
The developer's previous title, 'Muse Dash,' was released on mobile in June 2018 as a side-scrolling rhythm action game with a simple two-button control scheme. It gained steady popularity across Asia for its cute characters and vibrant art style, later expanding to platforms including PC and Nintendo Switch, and recently celebrated its 8th anniversary
Meanwhile, the 'Muse Dash 2' development team recently mentioned plans for new chart gimmicks, a branching chart system, and multi-platform support—including arcade and mobile—during an interview at an international indie game event. However, specific details regarding the system and release schedule have not yet been officially confirmed.
