[Overwatch Fan Festival] The Next Overwatch Map Will Be Busan, South Korea!
As there are many avid Overwatch fans in South Korea, KR players have been longing for a map that features South Korea, the biggest Overwatch powerhouse. Their wishes have finally been granted -- a new map, Busan, will be coming to Overwatch soon! Blizzard announced the new map at the Overwatch Fan Festival taking place in Seoul, South Korea on August 22nd-23rd (KST).

[Overwatch Fan Festival] Interview with Scott Mercer & Ben Dai, More about D.Va and Busan!
The Overwatch Fan Festival is taking place for 2 days, from August 22nd to 23rd, in Seoul, South Korea, to celebrate the release of the Busan map and the animated short, "Shooting Star" which features D.Va and her backstory. Not only does the festival include several entertaining events, such as a cosplay contest, talk shows with the developers and voice actors, and an event match between pro gamers, it also provides photo booths where fans can get their pictures taken with their favorite Overwatch heroes, freebies event, Overwatch stores & personal markets where Overwatch merchandise and handmade goods are sold, and much more.

[Overwatch Fan Festival] Interview with Jeff Kaplan about Busan, D.Va, and Torbjörn Remake
In celebration of the new Busan map and the D. Va animated short, "Shooting Star", an Overwatch Fan Festival was held in Seoul, South Korea. Jeff Kaplan, the game director for Overwatch and vice president of Blizzard Entertainment, came to South Korea to introduce the new updates himself. We had the chance to interview Jeff Kaplan about D.Va, her backstory, the new Busan map, during which he mentioned that they "made sure to reflect the Korean culture as positive as it is" about Busan, and that "more chapters to come in D.Va's story that will show her interactions". [Overwatch Fan Festival] New Animated Short about D.Va, “Shooting Star”, Released!
Blizzard released a new animated short, “Shooting Star”, which features D.Va, one of the most beloved heroines from their popular FPS game, Overwatch, at the Overwatch Fan Festival taking place in South Korea, August 22nd-23rd. The short takes place in Busan, one of the biggest cities in South Korea, and tells the backstory of how D. Va sacrificed her everyday life as a 19-year old in order to protect what she loves -- her country and its people.
