Griffin Qualifies for the 2019 League of Legends World Championship

Griffin has qualified for the 2019 League of Legends World Championship.

On the 18th (KST), Griffin defeated Hanwha Life Esports 2-0, securing 1st place for the regular season in the playoffs. With the win, they will head straight to the finals. This is the third consecutive LCK finals appearance for Griffin, in which the first two times, they ended up as the runner-up.

By heading straight to the finals, Griffin has secured at least 160 championship points, allowing them to reach the 2019 LoL World Championship regardless of the result in the finals.

I make my calculations and still exists a possibility that griffin don't go to the world, because if they lost the final and skt reach 3 place in playoff will be a tied in points

It is true that both SKT and Griffin would be tied at 160 points if SKT lost to Damwon in the semis and got third. The tie-breaker in that scenario is who placed higher in the 2019 summer playoffs, which would be Griffin who can only get as low as second. Griffin automatically qualifies for worlds no matter what.
