Shift Up's Stellar Blade officially launched on Nintendo Switch 2 on the 6th. A special live-action trailer commemorating the release was also unveiled.
'Stellar Blade Complete Edition' brings the title, previously released on PS5 and PC, to Nintendo Switch 2. It features optimizations tailored for Nintendo Switch 2, allowing players to enjoy the game in handheld mode as well as docked mode connected to a TV. It also supports Nintendo Switch 2-exclusive control features utilizing Joy-Con 2 motion controls.
The live-action trailer released alongside the launch captures the concept of being with Eve anytime, anywhere through Nintendo Switch 2. Emphasizing the features of Nintendo Switch 2 as a handheld console, it shows Eve appearing right beside players to share the excitement of Stellar Blade.
This Complete Edition includes the base game alongside the previously released NieR: Automata and Goddess of Victory: Nikke collaboration DLCs. Complete Edition bonus content, including Stargazer suits for Eve, Adam, and Lily, is also included.
A Bayonetta collaboration is also taking place to celebrate the Nintendo Switch 2 launch. Through this collab, four new outfits that protagonist Eve can wear have been added, including an original outfit personally designed by CEO Kim Hyung-tae. All four outfits are provided free of charge not only on Nintendo Switch 2, but also for PS5 and PC players.
