Hanwha Life Esports fell 1-2 to Gen.G in a crucial 2026 LCK Round 3 matchup held at LoL PARK in Jonggak on the 5th, marking their third consecutive loss. With both teams entering the match on two-game losing streaks, the stakes were high, but it was Gen.G that ultimately broke their slump. Hanwha Life Esports head coach Yoon Sung-young attributed today's defeat primarily to issues with the pick-ban phase, taking personal responsibility for the loss.
Below is the full transcript of the interview with Hanwha Life head coach Yoon Sung-young and 'Zeka' Kim Geon-woo.

Q. Could you provide your thoughts on today's match.
Head Coach Yoon = It’s clear to everyone that I lost us this game. We will regroup and come back stronger.
'Zeka': It feels like we haven't been able to get things organized since last week.
Q. What was the most disappointing aspect?
Head Coach Yoon = The pick-ban in Game 3 made the laning phase extremely difficult for us.
Q. You’ve recorded three straight losses in the LCK since winning the MSI. What are your thoughts?
'Zeka': There are a lot of individual mistakes, and lately, our communication during teamfights hasn't been precise. Also, because we keep losing, the team atmosphere feels a bit down.
Q. What are your thoughts on Shyvana?
Head Coach Yoon = Looking at the opponent's first three picks, I didn't think it was a bad choice. But since we ultimately lost, I have nothing to say other than that I need to go back and review it.
Q. What is the biggest change needed to turn things around?
Head Coach Yoon = Even though we lost, I feel like we are improving. I think we just need to do a better job with our pick-ban.
Q. Any final words?
Head Coach Yoon = I apologize for the three-game losing streak, and we will prepare well for the remaining matches.
'Zeka': We will make sure to win the final match of Round 3 and do our best to perform well in Round 4.
