HanJin Brion secured a 2-1 victory over Nongshim RedForce in the 3rd round of the '2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK)' held at LoL PARK in Jonggak on the 5th, successfully snapping their 7-game losing streak.

Early in Game 1, both teams traded 2 kills in a skirmish involving the mid-laner, jungler, and Supporter, leading to a tense stalemate. At the 20-minute mark, Nongshim gained a significant advantage by taking down three of Brion's members near the Raptor camp, but Brion turned the tide in the next major teamfight, securing the Baron.

In the subsequent Dragon teamfight, both teams traded kills evenly, but Brion managed to secure the Dragons, eventually claiming the Dragon Soul. After taking down 'Lehends' on Camille and 'Sponge' on Lee Sin, Brion easily secured the Elder Dragon, destroyed Nongshim's Nexus, and took the first game.

In Game 2, Brion's 'Gideon' on Naafiri monopolized kills and grew significantly. However, Nongshim's 'Scout' on Syndra also scaled well, and with no major deficits in the laning phase, Nongshim actually held a gold lead. The game remained neck-and-neck until the 23rd minute, when Nongshim broke the deadlock by taking the Baron. Nongshim continued their offensive, winning a decisive teamfight in front of the top tier-2 tower and following up with another victory to tie the series 1-1.

In the final 3rd game, Nongshim attempted a 3-man dive against Brion's Lucian-Yuumi bot lane with their jungler, but failed to secure any kills while Brion picked up 2. Brion then successfully ganked 'Diable' on Xayah and won the Dragon teamfight, pulling ahead with a 6-1 kill score.

Despite the kill lead, the gold difference remained narrow. However, Brion secured a crucial Baron and won the ensuing teamfight, extending their lead to over 5k gold. Although Nongshim managed to close the gap slightly, Brion emerged victorious in the final teamfight, destroyed Nongshim's Nexus at 31 minutes, and claimed a long-awaited, valuable win.
